Try and get out of this Closet

Texas is a big state, and there seems to be some big projects coming from there. Maybe it’s something in the water or maybe it’s just the cowboy mentality that is deep down in peoples subconscious that makes them driven to produce horror films. Or maybe it’s nothing, and there happens to be some talented people in Texas. Anyway, here is another gem coming from the Lone Star State….Closet Space.

This one is from the talented and what looks like to be really busy, director and horror freak, Mel House. Mel and his crew have put together a shocker of a horror flick.

Synopsis:
“What happens when the hunger for knowledge comes up against the insatiable hunger for flesh? Six grad students learn the answer as they explore the depths of the Closet Space……”

Basically there are some students that are trying to find their missing professor and in the process that stumbles upon something which I can only guess is a closet. Hence the title Closet Space. The students ultimately get lost and struggle to survive and from what the pictures on the website conclude….something else more gruesome than they could ever imagine. Looks and sounds like a winner to me!! It has been getting some press lately from the big sites and the director will be representing the film at the Fangoria Convention coming up soon.

Check out below for more info….

The film stars Kenny Hanner, Danielle Jones, Tim Wrobel, Peyton Wetzel, Morgan McCarthy, Evan Scott, Melanie Donihoo, Jovan Jackson, James LaMarr. A mixture of students, actors, and relative unknowns that is sure to bring some refreshing and new talent to the public. Nothing better than good nobody actors (meant in the best way, really!) to bring with them talent and hard work to the screen and leave the big budgets, and even bigger egos at the door. The crew here is just as talented with the director having already worked on numerous other movies, and side projects as well.

Mel House (director) started out at an aerospace engineer in college but changed that all around to film and it looks like that is a change for the better. Some of his previous projects include….”Fade To Black”, which premiered at the Bare Bones Film Festival in 2001, where it won the Grand Jury Award. “Drawing Blood”, the documentary “Electric Purgatory” – the fate of the black rocker, and “Witchcraft 13: Blood Of The Chosen” With some big movies under his belt and a talented special effects team, “Oddtopsy FX” whose works include Andre the Butcher and Unearthed, this one is sure to get some attention.
