After more than six years, Dark Myth Pictures (www.darkmythpictures.com) has started preproduction on the film ‘Body Bag.’

An adaptation of the original, three-part screenplay of the same name, written by Alan Russo and David K. Montoya, the project has an undisclosed budget for the first film. To be produced by Kevin Magnus and Marie Dixon-Magnus. Rebecca C. Lofgren has been named as Director of Photography, and David Montoya, one of the original co-writers, has been signed to write the screenplay. Production is set to start early this summer next year with a release date of 2008.

Montoya and Russo wrote “Body Bag” in May 2000. After a series of mysterious deaths, a seemingly peaceful community becomes a place where no one is safe, and everyone is suspect!

The casting is set to start in December even though the start date for pre-productions is targeted for the January, 2007.
