Optimum Home Entertainment (UK) will release Pan’s Labyrinth on March 12th. Visionary director Guillermo del Toro’s enchanting yet dark fairytale arrives with an anamorphic widescreen transfer, Spanish Dolby Digital 5.1 audio and English subtitles. Extras for the two-disc set will include a commentary track with del Toro, “The Power of the Myth,” “The Colour & The Shape” and “El Fauno Y Las Hadas” featurettes, “Director’s Prologue,” “Director’s Notebook,” “Storyboard Video Prologue,” “Notebook Video Prologue” features, Storyboard Comparisons and Still Galleries.
Also due on March 12th is The Guillermo del Toro Box Set, featuring Pans Labyrinth, Cronos and The Devils Backbone. “Cronos” will include a commentary, making-of featurette, interviews with the director and cinematographer, sketches & storyboards, still gallery and trailer. “Backbone” will feature a new and exclusive directors commentary.
