Anchor Bay and Starz Home Entertainment will release The Thirst on May 15th. The The vampire flick, being described as a cross between “Requiem For a Dream” and “Near Dark,” stars Jeremy Sisto, Adam Baldwin and Erik Palladino. The disc arrives with a 1.78:1 anamorphic transfer and Dolby Digital 5.1 tracks.
Extras include an audio commentary with writer/director Mark A. Altman and composer Joe Kraemer, deleted scenes, a making-of documentary, “Favorite Vampire Movies” featurette, a photo gallery with production sketches and the script via DVD-ROM. Retail is $19.98.
