An unsettling tale of obsession and domestic spying, Alone With Her, debuts on DVD on May 22, 2007 from Genius Products. Colin Hanks (Tenacious D, King Kong) stars as a disturbed young man with a dangerous fascination for a beautiful woman played by Ana Claudia Talancon (Fast Food Nation).

The DVD will feature an alternate ending and never-before-seen bonus footage and will be available for $19.95 SRP with a pre-order date of April 10, 2007.

Shot entirely through hidden cameras, including a “body cam” worn by Hanks, Alone with Her takes audiences to an extreme level of voyeuristic intimacy, exploiting both our inexplicable compulsion to watch and our fear of being spied upon. Alone with Her debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2006, and had a limited theatrical release in February, 2007.

For writer/director Eric Nicholas, the idea for Alone with Her originated when he stumbled across a website selling inexpensive spy equipment to the general public. He went on to discover countless similar sites, as well as retail spy shops across America and Europe. He was stunned to learn that anyone with $100 and a particular impulse could, in theory, secretly watch or listen to anyone else.

Alone with Her is the harrowing story of a disturbed young man’s attempts to win the affections of an unsuspecting young woman. As his fascination grows into obsession, he is no longer satisfied with just watching.
