From the director who has previously brought you Toe Tags and Branded comes a new direct to video film called “The Stitcher.” He is just as scary as the Shape in Halloween or Jason in any given Friday the 13th movie. You knew when he was around since there would be buttons laying at and on the victims remains to hint at his existence.

A group of friends head out to Brittany’s new inherited beautifully furnished home for a little vacation- the only downfall is that it’s in the middle of this backwoods hick town full of inbred toothless wonders who made me cringe. I am a sucker for inbreds, they scare me more than any psychopath could on any given day.

Danielle gets lost and stops for directions she gets stuck asking this old dirty fat farting guy for help. He just sat there in a stupor from his own vapors and she storms back to the car disgusted and still lost. Later when everyone but Danielle shows up at the house they get a ttle worried but since she is flighty they really pay no mind to it.

Digger the pothead made me laugh my ass off. I liked his blunt outbursts and goofy demeanor, He even had his own roll your joint song. I took this movie to my cousins and as we sat there watching we jokingly picked out characters saying it was us, it was just a quick point towards the screen.

She picked Michelle who turned out to be a bitchy as she really is in life, I happened to pick Tamra, and when it turned out she behaved the same way as I do when someone pukes had us rolling- we were dead on. All of the characters in her are definitely memorable.

There were parts this flick that actually made me jump, one scene imparticular that was in the barn where someone sat with a bag on there head. I think from The way they edited it and made The Stitcher move in quick creepy blurs at times was a big plus, plus his stitched up being was a scary thing in itself.

I had a lot of fun with this movie and think other peopewill too. You’ll be scared one minute and laughing the next, who can resist a ride like that? Some towns have their own whispers of a terror that once was and for this one, The Stitcher occupies it nicely proving that sometimes legends never die!

  1. Your review of this movie I found to be right on. I love a bit of comedy, mixed with my horror and the Hot girls are not bad either. I thought the killer was very unique and I loved how fast he moved not like most killers who walk everywhere they go. The rednecks in this movie could have came out of any small town around. Great Film!
