As you can tell from my last few reviews that this weekend I had a Charles Band Movie Marathon! Dead Man’s Hand is about a guy named Matthew who inherits his grandfathers old rundown casino. Dragna’s Mysteria casino is also hunted by the ghosts of two of Vegas most famous mobsters Gil and Roy “The Word” Donahue. They were slighted by Matt’s grandfather and want what is theirs.
Carnage and cards come hand and hand with this flick and proves some risks are just not worth taking. Matt and his friends prepare to spend the night so they can start cleaning the place up in the morning when suddenly strange noises and cries are heard thru out the casino rooms. But some are left to wonder if it is the effects of the weed they smoked or the pills they took.
Paige was a trip posing for pictures to post on her adult website, and her performance with Skeeter gave Meg Ryan a run for her money in When Harry met Sally. Jimbo the pothead manages to sleep thru most of the nights horrible antics but gets roped into gambling for his life while Emily is beside him trying to help him with the odds praying he’ll win…but will he?
Sid Haig plays Roy and proves that even dead he still lives up to his word while Michael Berryman played his side kick Gil. Out of all of the movies I have seen this far, I can honestly say I haven’t been disappointed- knock on wood! This movie is a great time that’s for sure, but the odds against you are stacked and sometime’s the dead dealers just don’t seem to wanna play that fair!
