The Gingerdead Man

GDEADDVD gingerdead

Review by AngryPrincess

Run, Run as fast as you can cause if you screw up you’ll be butchered by the Gingerdead man. Gary Busey is convicted killer Millard Findlemeyer who is executed, cremated then sent back to his mom’s home. Well apparently the mom is into some hoodoo, voodoo shit and puts his ashes in with a gingerbread spice and sends it to the baker who had him put away:now the gingerbread man Sara has baked has come to life.

Sara and her mother are battling to keep their bakery afloat when a competitor moves in across the street and promises to shut them down so they might as well take the cash he is trying to buy them out with. His daughter is stuck up Lorna who is going to be a beauty queen or model thanks to her father’s investments in her career. Amos her boyfriend is a fun addition to this mix.

Watching that ugly gingerbread man run around killing people was a conception I would of never thought of seeing before, Band’s story lines are great- he must dip into the evil bong himself once in awhile when he writes! Who else would think of Dangerous Worry Dolls or the PuppetMaster series? No one that’s who! there aren’t a lot of puppet movies out there and the ones that are aren’t quite as enjoyable.

Now that I have viewed this I feel like I have to see the second one or my gingerbread experience won’t be complete. The Passion of the Crust sounds like a good time to me. So come see this movie and be bomb barded with sugar and spice and the gingerdead man who is far from nice. I’ll admit I like the doll and puppet movies more but I think most people would still get a kick out of this.
