Dana Lewis is a scream queen with a golden set of lungs. The problem is she wants to try being a real actress instead of just doing horror movies. Her agent is the typical slimy snake in the grass pig who makes her give him a hand job in order to get her an audition for a film that is being cast. This movie was hysterical with a look at the fans waiting for her to arrive at a horror convention, If you don’t have a clue as to what these functions are like they give you a little sneak peek.
It shows how horror fans worship their favorite scream queens. You never think about all the freaks these people have to deal with. An then there is the overzealous fans that write scripts and bring them to the show hoping to get her to act in them. You can’t help wondering if Dana will ever luck out as you watch this movie snow ball from one scream queen disaster to the next.
I would recommend this movie to friends and fans of the horror genre, even scream queens themselves should check this out an get a good laugh at all the weird things they have to deal with. Poor Dana seems to have the luck of a loser as she arrives on set and has to work with a bunch of freaks- the directors dad was always dragging around his plastic blow up doll girlfriend.
After the movie wraps Dana returns home with a blissful smile on her face since she learned to love all of the people she had just worked with especially Jason the nerd. She fell fast and hard for him and his sweet disposition. Only the problem is she returns home to a great movie offer and dicks Jason’s date to go with the new movies director. Jason leaves heartbroken and confused wondering if Dana will ever come back down from those egoistical clouds she is on!
