A Portrait of Envy
You sit there at work guarding your hidden feelings for an attractive co-worker with the fantasies of him asking you out on a date. Day after day you wait hopelessly for the invite that never comes. Well I imagine that’s how poor Gillian feels every time her handsome coworker Jerry is near. Gillian is sitting there again at her desk when finally Jerry walks over and asks her about painting a picture for him.
Ecstatic at the thought of being with him and painting his picture makes Gillian’s somber face break into a wide grin until she finds out that he is actually doing this for his girlfriend and wants the painting of her. When the day arrives Gillian peacefully paints the beautiful Samantha all the while festering with rage and jealousy. Will she sit there in silence or will she speak her mind?
