LOS ANGELES, CA, Sep 29, 2008 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) — MAZEfilms, an independent film production company based in Brussels, Belgium, with a branch in LA, announced today its first horror film “CORNERED!,” which was made-in-America, is ready for the market.

The horror movie features a serial killer, who targets LA convenience stores, torturing and murdering victims in creative ways — and then stealing surveillance tapes as trophies.
In the movie, everyone is talking about the sensational series of crimes. At a downtown liquor store, a beer delivery man, MORTY (Steve Guttenberg: “Cocoon,” “Police Academy,” “3 Men and a Baby”), his motley friends and the store owner, STEVE (Eduardo Garcia: “No Country for Old Men”), fantasize about catching the killer — and snagging a $500,000 reward.
“It was fun, creative and it was something I got to do that I have never done before,” said Actor Steve Guttenberg, who stars as MORTY. “I’m happy to be here and make it work.”
“Everything has to start with a good script, and we have a good script,” said Actor Eduardo Garcia, who plays STEVE in the movie.
Confident that the liquor store is safe and secure, Steve and his poker buddies — JIMMY (James Duval: “Donnie Darko,” “Independence Day,” “Gone in 60 Seconds”), JESS (Elizabeth Nicole: “7th Heaven”), DONNY (Peter Story: “Ugly Betty,” “CSI”) and MONA (Ellia English: “Good Luck Chuck,” “The Jamie Foxx Show”), lock themselves in and settle down for their nightly game.
