Fright Flick – Blood, Breasts and House Pick! By Brian Kirst
Last weekend, La Luna Entertainment proved they have a festival favorite on their hands with their slasher throw back Fright Flick. On October 12th, the talented crew won House Pick as the Most Memorable production at the Syracuse B-Movie Film Festival. “I was shocked!” director Israel Luna says, “They said we were truly influential.”
Indeed, the Syracuse New Times noted of the film, “Gorehounds with a fondness for topless actresses and buckets of blood should be in 7th heaven.”
Now, Luna is even more excited for the upcoming premiere of Fright Flick in his native Dallas. Those located in the more Southern like regions are encouraged to buy tickets for the October 29th event at www.lalunaentertainment.com. Featuring costumes, a bold and bloody short film and tons of fun, this premiere at the Magnolia Theatre on 3699 McKinney Avenue should prove to be the highlight of Dallas’ Halloween season.

Meanwhile Luna is cooking up plenty of projects for the next year with a quirky variation on Quentin Tarantino’s Death Proof as one of his top priorities.
