KVHFF-titleA coven of filmmakers is promising a bloody good time in Medford Saturday at the Killer Valley Horror Film Festival.

Featuring horror flicks from independent filmmakers, the festival is planned from 6-10 p.m. at Land Mine Productions, 327 S. First St., Medford.

Tickets are $10 at the door, $6 for those in costumes.

Films by Ashland, Medford and Eugene directors will be featured, as well as a short film from Italy. Titles include “Zombie A Go-Go,” “Gog Juice,” “Depraved” and “Creepers.”

Food and drinks will be available, but no alcohol will be allowed. Because the films are rated NC-17, which could mean plenty of nudity and gore, children will not be admitted.

Viewers can sign up for raffle prizes and the filmmakers will receive awards following the screenings.

To see if you have the fortitude to endure the films, check out a sampling of last year’s films at the festival’s Web site at http://killervalleyhorrorfilmfestival.com.

The festival was a blast! We have films and fans all over the world, make and send a film and join us. Life is short film is forever. Randy
