Coralina Cataldi-Tassoni: From Best Death to Best Actress By Brian Kirst

Coralina Cataldi-Tassoni, Italian’s Queen of Screams, shocked the world this summer with her death scene in Mother of Tears. Indeed, many audience members proclaimed it the film’s best death scene and appreciated Tassoni’s ability to do more with her organs than most trained musicians.

Now, Tassoni has been nominated for Best Actress in a Professional Film, for her role in the well received The Dirt, at Fright Nights 2008 in Klagenfurt/Carinthia, Austria. The festival (http://www.filmseite.at/frightnightse/startseite.php) runs from October 27th to November 2nd 2008. Official screenings of The Dirt occur on Tuesday, October 28th from 7:15 pm to 7:30 pm and Saturday, November 1st from 7:25 pm to 7:40 pm.
