Holy Bloody cat litter! In 1991 in its continuing efforts it unleash our innermost fears upon the world, the USA Network surrounded heroine Kathleen Quinlan (Warning Sign, Event Horizon, The Hills Have Eyes remake) in her brand new home with some killer kitties. Quinlan remains convincing (and beautiful) throughout the ludicrous circumstances – and her character gets the best scare scene to boot.
Quinlan walks into her infant daughter’s room and discovers her in a crib surrounded by a goon squad of feral pussies. Talk about fur flying hysteria, folks! And, of course, there is nothing like a Mama Quinlan in battle– because the little girl eventually suffers from no more than some tear stained cheeks.
Besides that, co-star Claudia Christian is coolly bitchy even in her stair flung death – and almost all of the key cast members get to clutch fake, stuffed felines to their chests and struggle, wrestle and emote like all mad thespians long to do.
Fur sure, Sylvester, fur sure!
