SCULPTURE (Which premieres on July 22nd at 8:15 P.M. at the Anthology film Archives on 32 ave, NY, NY with a second screening at the Multimedia Arts Center, at 562 Bloomfield Ave, Bloomfield NJ, on Aug. 5th at 7 PM, www.SCULPTURETHEFILM.COM) co-stars Raine Brown and Marv Blauvelt.
Raine and Marv are collaborating on the Horror anthology PSYCHO STREET which is based on 4 true horrible events that took place in a small town in Southern Indiana and has Ms. Brown playing 4 different characters in each segment, with scripts written by Blauvelt and Trevor (The Green Monster, Sculpture) Wright . Not only will Raine’s Production company (Rainey Daze Productions) be working with the newly formed, Indiana based Dark Ryder Filmworks (in which Blauvelt is one of the directors) but they will also be collaborating with 3 other Indie film production companies for 3 of the short films.
The first, the dark comedy HYPOCHONDRIAC, will be shot in New Jersey at
the end of July and will be directed and co-produced by Pete (PSYCHO SISTERS, BEEF, SCULPTURE) Jacelone and his company THR Productions. HYPOCHONDRIAC finds Brown and Blauvelt teaming as a Nurse and Doctor in a small town medical clinic who encounter a southern woman (Alan Rowe Kelly) who is addicted to performing surgery on herself. The talented cast also includes Susan (The Blood Shed) Adriensen, Zoe (Vindication) Doelman Chlanda, Jeremy (Sculpture) Mulkey, David (Terror Overload) Gilke, Carl (Experiment 7) Burrows and Edward (The Green Monster) X. Young.
Next, a psychological thriller called NO REST FOR THE WICKED, written by Wright, has Brown playing a young, frustrated single mother who makes a deadly decision and must face the horrifying consequences.
The third, a splatterfest entitled THE DEVIL MAY CARE will be co-produced by Texan Andy Rose, with Parrish (The Quick and the Undead) Randall directing in collaboration with PRP Motion Pictures and has Randall playing a disgruntled farmer who is urged by an “Angel” (Brown) to take revenge on his family. Brooke (Kinky Killers) Lewis, Andy (The Caretaker) Rose, Dione (Protege) Rose, Kristen (Possum Walk) co-star.
The wrap-around story called PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE will be produced by Dark Ryder Film Works and has Brown encountering a woman (Kitsie Duncan) who seems to be the perfect House wife, but keeps a dark, twisted secret hidden in her basement. PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE co-stars Austin (SCULPTURE) Dossey, Kirk Chastain and Jason Hignite and will be directed by Arther (COME) Cullipher.
Brown and Blauvelt plan to have all 4 segments shot by spring 2010 and the PSYCHO STREET anthology submitted to Festivals in the summer of 2010.
