Grindhouse Slime City

Looks like Slime City is back on the map again courtesy of Grindhouse Collection.

The previous Shock-O-Rama release restored  Slime City to it’s original 1.78:1 aspect ratio. Shock-O-Rama revived this trash can gem from original film elements and cleaned it up quite a bit.  They also added multiple special features; a mini documentary, commentary, as well as the 1999 film Naked Fear by Lamberson.

Back in 1989, Gregory Lamberson released this little gore flick in theaters, and now it’s released again as part of a collection showcasing three of Lamberson’s movies and a short film.

Synopsis:
A horror film with guts! A student moves into a run-down building in New York City. His bizarre neighbors make a concoction in their apartment they call wine, but when he takes some of it, he turns into a deformed, murderous monster.
