Dark Carnival has selected several Horror Society notables for their 2009 Film Festival (taking place the first weekend in October).

Snappy horror comedy The Landlord (Massive Ego Productions) which features enough wit and bite for several films (and includes an outstanding performance from Michelle Corvais as a naughty cop caught in extreme circumstances), the bloody, flesh enhanced Sculpture from ScreamKings and the cerebral, grue drenched Vindication (a Clive Barker favorite) will all be highlights of the weekend this year.

Vindication director, Bart Mastronardi, has even sent out the exciting news of his film’s multiple nominations for the festival including Best Supporting Actor – Jerry Murdock, Best Supporting Actress – Zoe Daleman Chlanda, Best Supporting Actress – Alan Rowe Kelly (who also is nominated for Best supporting actor for the movie Sculpture) and Best Picture.

Congratulations and good luck to all!
