Demon Resurrection Review

A fast n fun amalgamation of The Big Chill, Creepozoids, Tombs of the Blind Dead and Rosemary’s Baby, Demon Resurrection contains lots of sputtering blood, the ravenously undead, a slithery birth plus a little bit o’ nudity (and nude branding) to round it all off.

A group of friends travel to the countryside to intervene with a friend’s supposed drug addiction. Soon it is revealed that the friend’s true addiction was to a local, Satan frolicking cult and that something a little evil is now swimming around inside her. Of course, the cult’s leader, Toth, is not willing to let her go and friend flambé is soon the dish of the day.

Obviously done on a low budget, Demon Resurrection is still often vibrantly filmed and competently acted (with stand-out notices given to cult victim Alex Golightly, half naked warlock Damian Ladd and the truly creepy Joe Zaso as Toth’s assistant) – making it worthy of barefooted Saturday afternoon viewing.
