Apr 13, 2010 – Dawna Lee Heising, David McNeil and Kevin Le of “Eye on Entertainment” on Time Warner Cable attended the exclusive “Sneak Peek” screening of “H1N1: Virus X”, a post-apocalyptic styled horror film that Domiziano Arcangeli both stars in and serves as executive producer on. Directed by Ryan Stevens Harris, “H1N1: VIRUS X” is the visceral, futuristic story of five medical scientists quarantined inside a bunker laboratory after being infected with a deadly, hyper-mutant form of the H1N1 virus. They have three days to live, with no exit and no escape. While the deceitful head doctor monitors them from a hidden surveillance room, the scientists must uncover the harrowing truth behind their detainment and force their way to freedom. Only a mysterious, silver-haired stranger stands in the way. The film stars Jai Day, Domiziano Arcangeli, Joseph Zaso, Dylan Vox and Sybil Danning.

With over 100 film and television credits to his name, Domiziano Arcangeli is a well-recognized, internationally known star. Arcangeli began his acting career at a tender age, and he has never stopped. Born and raised in Italy, but with an American mother, Arcangeli began his career as a child actor and gradually transitioned into teen and then leading roles. Arcangeli has had the good fortune to work with many of today’s leading Italian directors, including the legendary Federico Fellini. Since his return to America, Arcangeli has appeared in a wide variety of projects, from appearing alongside Sean Connery and Christian Slater in “The Name of the Rose” to starring in the action film “Samurai Avenger”. Arcangeli has also shared the silver screen with many film legends, including Samuel L Jackson, Dennis Hopper and Sir Lawrence Oliver. Most recently Arcangeli appeared in Sasha Baron Cohen’s “Bruno and Domiziano Christipharo’s disturbing homage film “House of Flesh Mannequins.” Arcangeli was also a regular on the hit Showtime series, Zalman King’s “Chromium Blue“, and appeared on NBCTV’s “The Restaurant.” The dynamic, mega-talented and entrepreneurial international star recently launched his own production company, Empire Films, and will be producing and starring in Creep Creepersin’s upcoming film “Brides of Sodom “, as well as appearing in and producing Mauro Borelli’s “Box of Shadows” later this year.

Dylan Vox is an up and coming American actor who has appeared in television, film and theatre. Vox’s appearances in the popular original gothic horror series “Dante’s Cove” as Colin garnered him a regular role on Heretv!’s vampire series “The Lair”. Vox starred in the world premiere of the hip-hopera “City Kid”, which earned a Los Angeles Stage Alliance Ovation Award nomination and a NAACP theatre award nomination. Vox was formerly a successful competitive ice skater, and has earned bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Journalism. The multi-talented dynamo then attended and graduated from law school. Vox has also appeared as Lucifer in “The Cepherian,” and acted in the mocumentary, “Crystal Lake Massacres Revisited,“ which is based on the Friday the 13th Vox will appear later this year in Creep Creepersin’s “Brides of Sodom.”

Sybil Danning reigns supreme as one of the sexiest, most dynamic and commanding actresses to achieve cult B-movie queen status. Danning made her film debut in “Come Now, My Dear Little Bird.” She has made memorable appearances in “Bluebeard,” “The Three Musketeers,” “Crossed Swords,” and “The Concorde: Airport ’79.” Other roles include classic “Chained Heat,” “The Seven Magnificent Gladiators,” “Howling II: Your Sister Is A Werewolf,” “They’re Playing With Fire,” “Amazon Women of the Moon,” “Reform School Girls,” “Phantom Empire,” and “L.A. Bounty.” After a regrettably lengthy absence from acting, Sybil Danning has made a welcome comeback by appearing in the “Werewolf Women of the SS” mock trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s “Grindhouse,” Rob Zombie’s “Halloween” remake and in Scott Mansfield’s horror anthology “Imps.“ The formidable star was called “the world’s number one female action star” by Entertainment Weekly and was recently named one of the “twelve sexiest werewolves of all time” by Latino Review.

Ryan Stevens Harris is a published author, exhibited painter and award-winning filmmaker. He grew up in North Carolina and Ohio, always under the red glow of his mother’s darkroom, sketching soldiers and damsels on his drawing board and inventing stories. Melding a diverse visual arts background, he studied filmmaking both in London and at the USC School of Cinematic Arts in Los Angeles, creating numerous short films before lensing an award-winning feature “Finale”, which won an award for Best Cinematography at the Boston International Film Festival.

Favoring brooding atmosphere, high design and mysterious subject matter, Harris’ projects lean toward the outer rims of the human condition and attempt “to ramp up the dark and fantastical voices whispering inside all of us”. He currently lives in Los Angeles and is developing a surrealist horror film about an industrial purgatory between heaven and hell. H1N1: Virus X is his directorial debut.
