Now here is a short horror/thriller film being shot entirely in Anchorage, Alaska! From what the director says its a tribute to the “FINAL GIRL found in slasher films”. Looks like they just started production on this one and have a few photos available at the Facebook Page.
MURDER IN THE BLOOD is a thriller about Amanda, a young girl who is called upon to rescue her childhood friend from the clutches of a sadistic killer. Rendered unconscious by the killer early in the film, the story unfolds from the perspective of the heroine’s subconscious as we see the real life events of the story translated into a dream language.
Predicated on the Slasher film’s staple of the Final Girl, the girl who eventually stops the blood crazed murderer, MitB explores the heroine’s thought processes in the final moments before making the decision to put herself in harms way and put a stop to a monsters kill crazy rampage.
