Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Sacha Baron Cohen, Alan Rickman and more star in this horror musical but does it deserve to get a ‘close shave’? The story was brilliantly told and fantastically written as it told the depressing times of Benjamin Parker otherwise known as Sweeney Todd and his besotted admirer Mrs. Lovett. The acting was fantastic, Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter did a magnificent job as their characters as did the rest of their cast, their portrayal of the characters in the movie was done very well. The characters were written good and you felt how you were supposed to feel about them, some of them were just innocent and others weren’t. The character development was great and really portrayed Sweeney Todd in different lights and you could see the many sides of him.
