Las Vegas Horror Film The Back Room Movie debuts at The New Sci-Fi Center. The Sci-Fi Center in Las Vegas Celebrates its grand opening with showing the premiere of Grindhouse style horror film; The Back Room Movie. Horror Fans can catch the movie on 7-10-2010 at the new & improved Sci-Fi Center located at 900 E. Karen.
Jul 07, 2010 – Las Vegas, July 6, 2010 – Director Tim Stover has brought us a new era of Grindhouse Horror with his independent film “The Back Room,” that joins a man on his journey into complete dementia through nightmares, and the acts he is forced to undertake to reconcile these horrific dreams.
“The Back Room” is filmed in the “Grind house Style,” as an homage to the exploitative B- movie thrillers popularized in the 1970s that were shown in dilapidated downtown movie theaters that would”grind out” non-stop double-bill programs of B- movies. This style was reanimated by Quentin Tarantino & Robert Rodriguez in 2007 with their films “Death Proof” and “Planet Terror.”
Leading the cast of “The Back Room” are Jeremy Goodwin and Ronni Lea, along with plenty of blood, gore, and some highly disturbing images. Some of the images in this film are so disturbing that the “Christmas in The Back Room” trailer was banned from being distributed on some social media sites.
“The Back Room” will be premiering July 10 at 8:00 P.M at the Sci Fi Center located at 900 E. Karen Ave #D202. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $7. The Back Room is produced by 3DT Productions, which was born out of a love for music, recording,and music creation in 2003. After writing music and sound fx on a number of films, Tim Stover and Dave Murray started crewing films. This natural progression birthed 3DT Productions into a full service video and audio production company.
