EXHIBIT A-7 WORLD PREMIERE AT ACTION ON FILM INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL JULY 26, 2010
Pasadena, California, 7/15/10 – Writer, director, actor Adam Minarovich’s latest film, “Exhibit A-7”, will be part of the line-up at this years Action On Film International Film Festival (www.aoffest.com), having its WORLD PREMIERE on Monday, July 26, 2010, at 6pm at the festival.
Described as “The Blair Witch meets The Strangers…a terrifying film” by cult director Jeff Burr (“Leatherface:TCM3”) and as “Truly Disturbing” by “Feast” and “Pulp Fiction” star Duane Whitaker, “Exhibit A-7” follows two couples on a trip to New Orleans who are systematically abducted and tortured by a band of masked killers who record the crimes on the victims home video camera. The footage captured was later used as the State’s evidence in the case against the attackers.
The film stars Robert Pralgo (best known as the evil Mayor Lockwood on the hit CW series “The Vampire Diaries”), Vanelle (“Survival”), Courtney Hogan (“Harvest Moon”), and writer/director Adam Minarovich (“Chop”). The film was produced by Kevin Woods (“Survival”) and Coleman Lannum.
Writer/director/actor Adam Minarovich’s name has been appearing a lot lately as a writer and actor. His most recent writing effort “Chop” (which landed him a top Hollywood agent and representation) was recently filmed in L.A. under the direction of Trent Haaga and he will next be seen in Frank Darabont’s upcoming AMC series “The Walking Dead” as Ed.
“Exhibit A-7” is also up for the Best Guerilla Filmmaking Award at the AOF fest.
Members of the cast & crew will be in attendance at the premiere.
