Here is a little about the short horror movie from the director himself, Bryan Wolford:
SHADOWS premiered at the Drunken Zombie Film Festival in November 2010. It is based off the director’s own short story SHADOW MAN that was published in October of 2002 in the Writer’s Net Anthology Of Prose Volume 1. The idea for this short film was to really tap into the fears we have as children. Something is out to get us and no one seems to believe us. While it was not really intentional the short has no blood, no gore, and the only real swear word is “hell”. The story just didn’t call for any of it. The DP Todd Pilon really just hit the lighting out of the park on this one and really made the night shots and the under the bed world really come to life. Also the editor Darrin Ford really helped bring something out of the under the bed scenes to give it a disorienting feel and texture. In my opinion it’s a short horror film that even kids can enjoy. It’s scary but again no gore, blood, nudity, swearing.
