Fright Flick Heads to DVD January 25th, 2011

Fright Flick is finally heading to DVD this month! This horror film, which was only made on a budget of $4,000, has gone on to win multiple film festival awards including Best Actress at the Horrific Film Festival and Best Gore/SFX at the Bare Bones Film Festival. While I haven’t had a chance to view this little gem of independent horror, it does sound pretty promising.

Taken from the film review by AngryPrincess a short synopsis reads: In Fright Flick, a second rate crew descends upon a hotel in a small town to create the second (and supposedly last) sequel to a low budget horror film series. Of course, the mysterious murder of the original film’s hilariously inept leading lady comes back to haunt everyone involved. Yep, it’s human fricassee, ladies and gents! Soon, the film’s industrious stills photographer is investigating the deadly on set mayhem, but of course, once he discovers the truth – it just may be too late to save his own life.” You can read the rest of her review of the film here: Review Fright Flick.

On sale for $21.99, Fright Flick will be released on January 25th, 2011 and you can buy it off Amazon here.
