While her show is mostly screening old fan favorites, a few new titles from the 70s and 80s have been added to the list. Elvira’s Movie Macabre originally aired from 1981 to 1986. It consisted of 5 seasons and showed over 130 B-movie horror films. Her horror hosting show made her an instant celebrity. Since 1981 she has had three video games, two pin ball machines, her own brand of beer, the #1 women’s Halloween costume, two films, one reality show, one theme park ride, appeared in numerous other films and television shows outside of her character, appeared on the cover of multiple magazines including Playboy, 2 music videos, recorded two Cd’s, and multiple commercials. At age 59, Cassandra Peterson shows no sign of stopping her career.
My local television station just changed to Me Tv and I'm thrilled to see Movie Macabre is still airing from 12-2 am Sundays! My best friend has an autographed stateboard from Elvira and I'm thinking of buying her a collection of the DVDs for her B day!

It’s October 1st 2011 and we just found out that Elvira’s Movie Macabre may not be back for a 2nd Season. All Elvira fans NEED to call, write, and bug the stations that aired the show. Tell them they simply have to sign up for another season, or all Elvira fans will join and stop viewing and supporting their stations. Do it now guys, or we’ll loose Elvira for good!!!

i know it only shows in certain areas, certain cities. also, it’s on hiatus right now…which means no reruns until if/when the show returns for season 2. you can check out elvira.com to see if the show was ever on in your area in the first place. and if im not mistaken, you should be able to catch some of the new epidoses on Hulu I think.
