The Wrong House Wins Fright Meter Award

Independent horror film, The Wrong House, nabbed the “Best Supporting Actress Award” this weekend at the Fright Meter Awards. It was also named one of the top ten films of the year by Fatally-yours.com. Not too bad for a film made on a $10,000 budget, right? The plot of The Wrong House is based on the real life events of the producers that happened in their house in Maine, except for all the murder that is…I hope. The synopsis, provided by Wisdumb Productions, says: “An isolated house in the woods looks like an easy mark to a group of friends camping in the Maine wilderness. The thieves haul away several ounces of pot and hallucinogenic mushrooms in the heist. But when the homeowners track them down, the thieves learn too late that there are some people you just shouldn’t mess with… and that they picked The Wrong House.”  Sue Stevens, the actress who won the award, also wrote and was one of the producers of this little horror flick. I chose to do this article because I became genuinely interested in The Wrong House. It almost sounds like a new vision of The Last House on The Left. Hopefully I can check it out soon and give yall a review.
