Katharine McPhee, ‘American Idol’ 5’s runner-up, is set to costar in Shark Night 3D. The synopsis, provided by the official website, says: “The story revolves around seven men and women who spend a weekend at a lake house in Louisiana’s Gulf area. When their vacation quickly becomes a nightmare of hellish shark attacks, unheard of in freshwater lakes, they soon discover that the sharks are part of a sick, greedy plan on the part of several locals.” Also starring in Shark Night 3D is Sarah Paxton, Sinqua Walls, Alyssa Diaz, Dustin Milligan, Joel David Moore, and Chris Carmack. The film is being directed by David E. Ellis and the 3D shark animation will be created by Walt Conti. Shark Night 3D is set to hit theatres in September 2011.
The teaser trailer and official website are being promised soon. Although, there are a few very uninteresting stills floating around the internet.
