We’ve opened up our website lately so we can showcase more of the horror world. Other contributors have made articles about novelties, music, comics, jewelry, etc. So, I decided with this new wave of possibilities, I would give all you East Coasters a chance to dive into a new world of horror – runway. A few weeks ago, I posted an article telling you about a new film called Blood Lodge going into preproduction and that it will begin filming in March. Producers have been hard at work since then gathering funds to provide horror fans with the best zombie film they could muster. There is a Battle of the Bands happening in Seaside, New Jersey on February 26, 2011 at Beachcomber.
More importantly another Blood Lodge event will be taking place March 6, 2011 in Brick, New Jersey. This time it will be a fashion show called R.I.P The Runway. Men and women will be showing off their best zombie make up and costumes. The winner of this runway contest will win a role in the upcoming film. The general admission ticket is $25, while entering the contest will cost you only $20. It sounds like it will be a pretty good time, so all horror fans in the Tri-State area should check it out. Who knows! You could even end up in the movie!
Blood Lodge is an upcoming horror film by Graffiti Playhouse Pictures and Vincent Orosz. The plot of Blood Lodge centers around a group of friends who take a weekend ski trip. While at the ski lodge, they find that the town is being attacked by zombies. They must now band together with other townsmen and fight for survival. Jasmin St. Claire, Vincent Pastore, and Chuck Zito are set to star.
