Year Zero

Year Zero by Richard Cunningham will be screening at Tribeca Film Festival this year. Richard says “Year Zero was made on a shoe-string budget (5 grand), I taught myself to digitally illustrate, animate and edit the film myself. I also wrote and directed Year Zero, and composed the score.”

Sounds good and looks pretty good to me. Congratulations Richard! Check out the synopsis and more info about the film below.

Synopsis: A month after a bacterial parasite began to plague New York City, a survivor remains barricaded his bedroom, trapped by the zombies beating at his door. Eating captured insects and drinking from a leaky pipe, he ekes out the numbed existence of someone caged and isolated. This animated zombie apocalypse tells the story of man’s slow breakup with the world that was.
