Get Bound In New PJ Soles Film

Man! Halloween came out in 1978 and PJ Soles is still working her butt off for all of us horror fans! We can expect her latest film, Bind, sometime in 2011. Read below for all the details.

Bind is written and directed by Dan Walton. While he doesn’t have any big credits to his name, he does have a lot of thank yous from noteworthy horror films such as Feast, Behind The Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon, The Tripper, and Masters of Horror. Bind will be his debut as a director. The film was shot in Canada and was produced by GrounDead Productions. The plot, as described on IMDB: “A weekend getaway to a scenic winter wonderland takes a deadly turn when a group of friends find themselves pitted against the elements and a dark presence with a bloody agenda.”

Even though the budget for Bind is only $1,500,000, it has quite the remarkable cast – many of whom have appeared in horror films before. PJ Soles (Halloween), Edward Furlong (Night of The Demons Remake), Emmanuelle Vaugier (Saw II), Christa Campbell (Day of The Dead remake), Ryan Merriman (The Grudge 2), Chelan Simmons (Final Destination 3), Daniel Cudmore (Alone In The Dark), Kane Hodder (Friday the 13th), and Kevin Gage (Laid To Rest) round out the leads of the film. For an independent horror film, that’s a pretty stellar cast!

The official website is pretty behind in terms of updates, especially since the film is currently in production. But, you can check out the official facebook here. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on this movie’s progress and release.
