Sony has officially announced plans to bring the 2011 Jonathan Liebesman directed action / sci-fi film “Battle: Los Angeles” starring Aaron Eckhart, Michelle Rodriguez and Bridget Moynahan to Blu-ray Disc on June 14th. Tech specs for the release, or releases rather, include full 1080p Hi-Def video in the 2.40:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound. The reason I say releases is because there will be a Standard Blu-ray and a 2-Disc “Combo Pack” (with DVD) released. Both are available for PRE-ORDER over at Amazon with $23.99 and $26.99 price tags.
One of the biggest things to be included on the bonus materials exclusively is for users of the Sony PlayStation 3 (PS3) video game console and it is a 30 minute playable demo of an upcoming game “Resistance 3” as well as a PS3 Theme based on this film. You’ll find the full list of bonus materials set to be included below.
