MORE INFO:
Eerie Von is widely known as the Bass player from the Goth Punk pioneers Samhain, and the Hard rock/metal band Danzig. A lifelong photographer and graduate from The Germain School of Photography, Von photographed everything from The Misfits humble beginnings to the underground journey of Samhain to the heights of Danzig’s stadium-rock glory. With behind the scene shots, he essentially captured the dark heart of rock’s most vital and bleeding-edge periods.

As of 2011, Eerie has contributed to 27 commercially released recordings since 1983, which includes 5 solo releases. His music has evolved into “an intriguing blend of rockabilly, blues, and goth.” Further described, “The Darkness, the Blues, the strong vocals are still there, only now it seems more natural.” Von continues in whatever direction his mood, and the songs take him. But, as he states, “I’ll be a Punk Rock guy until I die, and there will always be blues in everything I do. It’ll always be dark, that’s just how it is.”

The first public art showing of Eerie Von’s Fiend Art and Photography; Presented as a one-night multimedia event, showcasing Von’s latest abstract “Fiend Art” paintings and selections of his rare Punk Rock Era photographs.

ALSO, including a rare live Acoustic music performance from Eerie Von, supported musically by award winning Acoustic artist, Michael Joseph Ulery. Eerie Von’s acoustic performance offers a humble, genuine personal fan experience.

Inspired by his acclaimed title, “Misery Obscura: The Photography of Eerie Von (1981-2006),” this event is a pictorial, artistic, and musical celebration of an underground identity-a culture…”the likes of which will never again be seen. A time of hand-made t-shirts, leather boots, b-movies and fiend clubs.”
