Wrong Turn 4 on DVD 10/18, Poster & Trailer Inside!

The internet is buzzing with news on the fourth installment in the Wrong Turn series, Wrong Turn 4: Bloody Beginnings. The original film was a moderate box office success and has spawned into a successful straight-to-dvd franchise. Wrong Turn 4 will take a completely new shift away from the aesthetics of the last three films, involving snow and a mental asylum, instead of backwoods horror in the summer. Declan O’Brien, the director of Wrong Turn 3 and Sharktopus, returns for this film that stars Terra Vnesa, Dean Armstrong, Tenika Davis, Kaitlyn Wong, and Jennifer Pudavick.

The plot, “Follows a group of friends that decide to go snowmobiling during their winter break. They make a “wrong turn”, getting lost in a storm, and seek shelter in an abandoned sanatorium. They are completely isolated by the storm and are thankful they can get out of the elements. But the sanatorium has a troubled past, and some of its former patients still reside there and are not happy about the intrusion. In a deadly game of cat and mouse, the college kids must fight to survive the night.”

20th Century Fox Home Entertainment has released a short teaser trailer. It mostly sums up the last three films while also giving us a few clicks for the upcoming movie that will be released this October. Watch the teaser trailer here. I’m a little bit iffy because it looks like the film has some Saw elements, for some reason.

What about you, HorrorSociety readers? Like or dislike the idea so far?
