The on again, off again reality show pinning unaware contestants against various horrific situations returns to its home at SyFy Channel this October. Scare Tactics will be airing its fifth season, despite being on air since 2003. Previous hosts of the series include Shannon Doherty and Stephen Baldwin, though the show is currently hosted by Tracy Morgan. The show involves an “informant’ who sets up the “target” to be scared shitless, whether it be by Bigfoot, mutated demon children, biker gang vampires, or your basic crazed mansion owner. Basically, it’s like watching three short horror B-Movies each time a target is set up by the crew of Scare Tactics. Although an official date has not been released, SyFy has confirmed that the new season of Scare Tactics will air new episodes starting this October…just in time for Halloween.
