Preproduction Details – Dark Star Hollow

A new horror film has gone into preproduction, Dark Star Hollow. Dreamgrifter Entertainment and TorchLight Entertainment have teamed up to put this film together on a budget of $18,000,000. John Carl Buechler has been tapped to direct this film, his previous works including Friday The 13th Part VII and Ghoulies III. Dan Griffin wrote the script. Speaking of story, the plot for Dark Star Hollow is: “In 1960, David Sinclair makes a deal with the devil for the life of his wife. He floods Bright Star Hollow, but doesn’t claim all the souls. Forty years later, he is given a second chance.” The most interesting thing about Dark Star Hollow so far is its incredible cast. Elisha Cuthbert [left] (House of Wax remake), Ron Perlman (Sleepwalkers), Josh Harnett (30 Days of Night), Billy Zane (The Roommate), Kane Hodder (Friday The 13th), and Chelan Simmons (Final Destination 3). Being that the film just went into preproduction, no release date or any other information is available right now. But, I am interested to see how the chemistry between these actors turns out because they seem so different.
