Vinland CineMusique Motion Pictures is proud to announce that Chicago-based actress and horror-goddess Heather Dorff has been booked for a starring role in the supernatural thriller “Hand of Glory,” written and directed by Stuart Wahlin.
“Hand of Glory” follows the tale of Joseph (Darren Marlar), a seemingly regular guy, albeit a little awkward around women, who becomes obsessed with winning the heart of Karen (Dorff), a troubled, alcoholic prostitute he’s trying to save. When, despite his best efforts, Joseph discovers that Karen is unable to see beyond the bottom of a cocktail glass, he resorts to desperate, mystical measures in hopes of winning her affection.
This short film will initially be released on the Web in episodic installments, but will also be shown in its entirety throughout the Midwest region, as well as at festivals worldwide.
Fellow writer and director Justin R. Romine has signed on as director of photography for Wahlin’s film. Principal shooting is set to begin in late July or early August, with a release date expected this fall.
