We are the first ones to bring you the latest poster for The Lashman, as well as an onset photo. This comes courtesy of director Cameron McCasland, who dropped it right in my email inbox. To the left, you can spot the new movie poster which features cast member Stacey Dixon. I’m enjoying the posters much more as they progress along with post-production editing of the film.
The Lashman ‘follows a group of friends who go away to a backwoods cabin in Kentucky where they hear about the legend of The Lashman. They don’t take caution and heed the tale, of course, and will end up on the chopping block.’ In my interview with Mr. McCasland, he stated that The Lashman will almost pay homage to Friday The 13th and The Evil Dead, but not copy it.
The Lashman will star Stacey Dixon (Monster Cruise), Kaylee Williams (Zombie Babies), Shawn C Phillips (Banshee!!!), Jeremy Jones, Todd Bush, David Vaughn, and a cameo from Larry Underwood (Dr. Gangrene).
