‘The Unleashed’ Receives Limited Release in Canada

Our friends across the street will be treated to limited screenings of a horror film called The Unleashed. This Canadian film is the second horror movie by director Manuel H. Da Silva. Diane Da Silva and L.A. Lopez join him as writers in this collaboration with Dark House Films.

The Unleashed follows, “Madison Kennard, a troubled woman dealing with her dark past, must venture home after an 8 year absence following her mother’s death. Almost instantly after her return, Madison must cope with the haunting memories of a childhood best forgotten.

Bizarre and unexplainable events occur within the house after Madison and old friends come together to dabble with the infamous Ouija board. Dark oak wood, round in shape, and with numbers in Roman numerals, this board is unlike any others. Found in the attic of the home, Madison has no idea of the secrets and danger that comes with contacting the dead through this board.”

Trisha Echeverria, Jessica Salgueiro, Colin Paradine, and Caroline Williams & Malcolm McDowel from Rob Zombie’s Halloween will be starring in The Unleashed. While the film had its premiere June 25th, it has added on a bunch of different days and showing times to its screenings list, all in Ontario, Canada including:

  • 7/8/11 – 3 showings
  • 7/9/11 – 2 showings
  • 7/15 – 4 showings
