You Guys Want Some Porkchop?

All right, HorrorSociety readers. It’s time to give back to the community that entertains us so much, whether it be on DVD, the small screen, or the silver screen. Eamon Hardiman and Razor Sharp Studios, who brought you Zombie Babies, were dealt a serious blow during the filming of their lattest horror movie, Porkchop. Mr. Hardiman is in need of about $350 to complete the film. I already donated $50, so it’s up to everyone else who supports independent horror to match the other $300. You can donate at their kickstarter page here. Pledge as little as you want ($10 is the minimum). They’ve actually got cool, special prizes for donating such as special thanks and associate producer credits, signed scripts, t-shirts, and copies of Zombie Babies. Read more about it from Eamon himself:

PORKCHOPS is the simple tale of the new kid coming to town, being bullied, making friends where he can, and eventually coming face to face with a deranged redneck serial killer. Who wears a pig mask. Okay, so maybe it’s not so simple after all.

We were completely ready to shoot the film on July 6th, unfortunately a tragedy prevented us from filming, forcing us to cancel two nonrefundable plane tickets and leaving us short about $800 to make our picture. We’ve all pitched in but are still short another $350. So in order to buy these tickets and get started on our new date (AUGUST 6th) we’ve decided to offer up another fundraising campaign for folks to follow the motion picture. I’ve set the amount needed at $350 but please feel free to keep donating beyond that. We only set it at there so we have a better chance. If we don’t hit $350, we get nothing at all.

Starring Kaylee Williams, Angela Pritchett, Shawn C. Phillips, Sam Qualiana, Missy Dawn, and Brian Gunnoe as Burt Fleming along with a host of fresh newcomers to the genre, PORKCHOPS continues our trilogy’s effort to bring new kills and new situations to slasher films, infusing them with something new, something fresh. In the last one, a girl had sex with a robot. Wait’ll you see what we’ve got in store this time.

The film will be shot, edited, and scored in a record amount of time, with a planned October release date, just in time to coincide with the original release on DVD from Alternative / POP Cinema. PORKCHOPS will be filmed on the Canon T2i in full HD and will be released to Blu-Ray.

All producers that contribute to the film WILL receive IMDB credit for this and all perks will ship in October guaranteed. Thanks so much for taking the time to read this and for helping us make our film. These things are nearly impossible to make and we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for all of your support over the years.
