I just caught wind of an upcoming horror film, via Kaylee William’s Facebook, called Disciples. Disciples will be directed by Joe Hollow (Cut, Song of The Shattered) with Cleve Hall (Troll), Tim Hays (Legend of The Red Reaper), Justine Romine, and Linnea Quigly on board as co-producers. While the website contains no information about the plot of the film, I would wager a guess that it has to do with supernatural elements involving real life Biblical demons. That would be cool since we really haven’t seen a possession film with actual Satanic figures since The Exorcism of Emily Rose. I’m intrigued by the plot, but the cast is what really grabbed my attention…hard.
Horror icons Linnea Quigly (original Night of The Demons), Brinke Stevens (The Slumber Party Massacre), Bill Mosely (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2), and Lloyd Kaufman (Tromeo & Juliet) are all tapped to appear. Scream queens Kaylee Williams (Slices of Life), Rachel Grubb (Bloodstruck), Sarah French (Shriek of The Sasquatch), Michelle Bauer (Puppet Master 3), and Stacey Dixon (The Lashman) are also set to appear in Disciples. Shawn C Phillips (Banshee!!!), Jim O’Rear (original Day of The Dead) and many others will round out the cast.
Just based on the cast list, I have high hopes for this film!
