Dead Things

“Dead Things” is set nearly two decades following a zombie plague. The Bible Belt is now a church-state. Ian Sumner and the survivors of a small plane crash are lost in the wilderness, miles from safety. Pursued by madmen and monsters, they unravel the secrets of the plague and walk the line of heresy.

Joe McKinney, author of “Dead City” and “Apocalypse of the Dead,” said the book’s “spellbinding mix of social commentary and jaw-dropping action make [it] a first rate triumph” that “takes the zombie novel in a really cool new direction.”

“Dead Things” (deadthingsthenovel.com) is available for purchase (iPad, Kindle, and Nook), also full reviews, sample chapters, news, and the authors bio. There is also a Facebook page (facebook.com/deadthingsthenovel.com) with fun facts about the cover, themes, etc.

On October 4th Matt will be doing his first reading from “Dead Things” as part of the Tuesday Funk sessions at Hopleaf in Chicago. Just in time for Halloween!
