Want to be in a Horror Movie?

FACED PRODUCTIONS AND THE CREATIVE HOST CASTING CALL FOR FEATURE FILM.

Sean Haitz and Chris Potter, creators of Mangrove Slasher 2, have started a production company: Faced Productions. Joining their ranks are Cameron Hall and Chaz McKell. They are teaming up with The Creative for a new full-length feature film which will again be shot in Sarasota, Fl.

Their new feature, which has been in development since the Sarasota Film Festival, will be a horror-thriller featuring a subject very near and dear to Sarasota – the circus. After meeting John Nock, of The Nock Family Circus, and hearing his passion, desire and drive to contribute to a film with roots tied to the circus, Haitz and Potter could not resist the temptation. Thus, the project known only as “Freakshow” (The film’s actual name is still under wraps) was started.

The open casting call for the circus-horror production is set for September 17th, 2011 at 12 noon. Actors will be unpaid, but compensated by credit and the experience of making a local film with potential for national distribution.

Faced Productions is looking for: Seven starring roles (4 women 3 men) Countless extras, including freaks, acrobats/gymnasts, circus-performance types, carnie types.

Also, persons with production experience, i.e. lighting technicians, audio recordists, editors (Final Cut Pro), etc. are greatly needed.

Faced Productions is also looking for Producers and endorsements. Starring Roles to Fill:

Veronica: Stuck up, my way or the highway type girl. Uses her beauty and sex-appeal to control her boyfriend Scott. Age between 21-30. Average height.

Casey: Artistic, laid back and intelligent gal. Single and independent. Pretty, but down to earth. Age between 21-30. Average height.

Donny: Hyper and nerdy. Awkward, embarrassing. He is “that guy” in your group of friends that never leaves with a lady, but always tries (too hard) to impress people. Age between 21-28. Average to below average height. Glasses a plus.

Candy: Country gal. Very attention deficit. Sexy, flirty, and uncensored. This girl has a very dark side to her. Age between 21-35. Average height. Drop dead gorgeous. Southern-ish accent a major plus.

The Creeps: This is a ragtag threesome of outlaw-type criminals. They rob convenience stores, banks, basically whatever they can rob. They are wanted for murder, armed robbery, etc. They all have New Jersey accents (think Andrew Dice Clay) and are dressed in the New Jersey street gang attire of the 80’s, including leather/black denim jackets, jeans, white shirts, etc.

Secondary Roles and Extras: Circus performance types including but not limited to: acrobats/gymnasts, dancers, jugglers, sword swallowers, strong men, sideshow types, animal trainers, etc. Extras will have varying roles, ranging from innocent bystanders to clowns.
