Creepy Kid Productions brings you a new take on an old tale with Her Heart Still Beats.

Everyone has heard of Edgar Allen Poe’s “The Tell Tale Heart,” right? If not, then punch yourself in the face. His short story of madness and murder has been adapted into 10 different films since the original tale was printed in 1843. Now, Creepy Kid Productions is bringing you the latest re-imagining of the story, but with two big differences. Firstly, Her Heart Still Beats will take place in modern times and secondly, the infatuation will be with someone’s eyes instead of their heart. This clearly makes it a re-invisionment of the classic story more than a remake of previous film entries. Here’s a more in depth synopsis:

When Ed’s wife comes home early from work one day he becomes overtaken by a strange feeling when he looks into her eyes. Disturbed or possibly just paranoid, Ed becomes possessed with his wife’s eyes and struggles to understand these feelings. Is she evil or is he insane? They may not have enough time to find out.

Fiore Leo, Leighsa Burgin, William Bloomfield, John Martellucci, and Michael Capozzi will star in Her Heart Still Beats; having worked alongside the crew of Christopher Di Nunzio (director, writer, producer), James Sullivan (director of photography), Jason Miller (producer), Nicholas David Potvin (music), and Chris Herbert (gaffer).
