Artist Feature: Ralph Di Nunzio

Not too long ago I did an interview with artist Ben Von Strawn. Since starting to do interviews for HorrorSociety, I’ve ventured out and interviewed not only actresses and actors, but stunt-doubles, directors, and artists as well. There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes in our beloved genre that some don’t even know about and most don’t give any praise to. So, last week when doing an article for Christopher Di Nunzio’s Her Heart Still Beats, Christopher informed me that his brother is a horror artist. What a great opportunity to promote another artist. Ralph Di Nunzio is his name and he’s a great artist and a member of Boston’s hardcore band “Wrecking Crew.” Ralph’s work is particularly interesting to me because of its unique blend of different genres with horror. Ralph Di Nunzio adds Japanese style aspects into most of his work, creating things like samurai zombies. He “blames this influence on the syndicated horror show Creature Double Future and Kung Fu Theater.” Make sure to check out his official website here and view his pieces that I liked the most below.
