OSHKOSH HORROR FILM FESTIVAL 2011- Saturday, October 22
It’s back! The Oshkosh Horror Film Festival will return to the Time Community Theater in Downtown Oshkosh on Saturday, October 22, 2011. The objective of the OHFF is simple: showcase Wisconsin made independent horror. Both feature length and short films will be shown, all films being made right here in Wisconsin. There will be no awards for the films and no contests held. The OHFF is a clear cut event to do nothing more than celebrate Wisconsin horror.
WE WANT YOUR FILMS!!! At this time, we are now accepting films for show in the 12-hour event. DEADLINE: All films must be submitted by Sept. 24. Our guidelines are quite simple: we are looking horror films (short and full length) that were made right here in beautiful Wisconsin. That’s it. There’s not even a submission fee. It doesn’t get much easier than this, folks. This is a great way to show your film to the public, meet other filmmakers and fan, and network! Throughout the day will be various giveaways and raffles, and the filmmakers will be on hand to field a Q&A after their films.
We have the first two films confirmed! Oshkosh’s very own, Swamphead, will be making it’s premiere at the OHFF! Along with Mediatrix, the latest from Cory (Incest Death Squad 1 and 2) Udler.
Admission to the OHFF is only 5 bucks, come and go as you please. The event is 17+, IDs are required if requested. No ID = No Admittance. Anyone under 17 will be admitted with parental consent. All proceeds raised benefit the non-profit Time Community Theater.
