Felix Silla To Appear At The Grand Rapids Toy And Comic Expo

GRCTC Shows Inc. is pleased to announce that world famous character actor Felix Silla will be making an appearance at the Grand Rapids Toy And Comic Expo on Saturday, December 3. Silla will be signing autographs and meeting fans.

Felix Silla is one of the most renowned little people in the history of Hollywood. After a stint in the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus in the early 1960’s, Felix spent three decades in Hollywood as a stuntman and character actor, usually spending much of his screen time in heavy make-up and prosthetics.

Felix is most famous for two of his television roles. Felix performed as Cousin Itt in the 1960’s television sow “The Addams Family” and also performed as Twiki The Robot in “Buck Rogers In The 25th Century”. This is not the limits of Felix’s television history, as he also portrayed Lucifer on the 1970’s version of the sci-fi classic ‘Battlestar Galactica” and numerous roles in the groundbreaking children’s show “H.R. Pufnstuf”. Felix also appeared in memorable roles on television shows such as “Bonanza”, “Bewitched”, “Married With Children”, “The Dukes Of Hazzard”, and “The Monkees”.

Felix is not just limited to television roles as he has also worked on the big screen, particularly in films directed by Steven Spielberg and George Lucas. Felix is most famous on the big screen for his portrayal as the lead Ewok in Star Wars: Episode VI: Return Of The Jedi, a child gorilla in the original Planet Of The Apes, and a dink in the Star Wars spoof Spaceballs. Felix also has played in several horror and action films, including monsters in The Brood and House, a penguin henchman for The Penguin in Batman Returns, and the lead in Howard The Duck. Felix’s favorite role was playing a miniature, maniacal Hitler tormenting George Segal in The Black Bird.

Felix has also performed numerous stunts in films such as Poltergeist, E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial, The Towering Inferno, Earthquake, and When Time Ran Out.
