The 7th annual South African HORRORFEST is creeping closer! [ 26 October – 4 November 2011 ]

Since 2005 the South African HORRORFEST has become the ultimate Halloween event in Africa, including feature films & short films from around the world, with new and rare indies, big budget sneak previews, classics, and movies you won’t see on the big screen anywhere in South Africa (or the rest of the continent).

(George A. Romero’s legendary zombie movie gets re-created by over 100 animators with various animation techniques)

> I AM NANCY
(in this documentary Nightmare On Elm Street star Heather Langenkamp explores horror fans’ obsession with villain Freddy, and not the heroine Nancy)

> THE THEATRE BIZARRE
(a brand new 7-part horror anthology directed by make-up FX pioneer Tom Savini, Karim Hussein, SA-born Richard Stanley & others)
