SCREAMS in the Park

For anyone who has ever wondered what their capacity to tolerate fear is, SCREAMS in the Park at Rosemont will surely provide a perfect test.

Thrill-seeking visitors will step back in time as they enter Dr. Holmes’ sprawling gothic mansion, which outwardly appeared to be an inviting hotel for visitors to the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition, but which in fact was designed specifically for the purpose of murdering and dismembering Holmes’ hapless victims. Even the bravest will find their courage tried as they explore Dr. Holmes spooky fog-filled secret passageways, gruesome torture chambers and vats of deadly, bubbling acid.

The immersive haunted house experience is located at the Park at Rosemont, just west of River Road between Bryn Mawr and Balmoral next to Muvico in Rosemont.

Tickets go on sale Monday, Sept. 12, 2011. Tickets are $20. The event will run October 1-31 with the following performance schedule Tuesdays – Saturdays from 7 – 11 p.m. and Sundays from 6 – 10 p.m
